About the role
The Housing Access Coordinator will work closely with the Housing Services team to provide support and resources to individuals and families experiencing housing instability.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate outreach efforts to identify and connect clients with available housing resources.
- Assist clients in navigating the housing application process and providing guidance on eligibility requirements.
- Provide emotional support and advocacy to clients facing housing challenges.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local housing providers and community organizations.
- Conduct regular assessments to ensure clients are making progress towards stable housing.
- Document client interactions and progress in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, public policy, etc.) or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Experience with housing assistance programs such as Section 8, HUD, or other government-funded housing initiatives.
- Knowledge of local housing policies and regulations.
- Understanding of the impact of housing instability on mental health and overall well-being.

Pay
Salary range: $30,000 - $40,000 annually.
Schedule
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
