Housing Coordinator

About the Role

Coordinates housing referrals, prioritization activities, and system navigation for survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking, stalking, and family violence. Serves as a key liaison between Victim Coordinated Entry access points, housing providers, community partners, and internal programs to ensure survivors are connected to safe, equitable, and survivor-centered housing resources. Plays a critical role in advancing housing stability and access for survivors while promoting collaboration across Franklin County's domestic violence housing system.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and manages survivor-centered housing referrals by maintaining prioritization processes, facilitating collaboration, and monitoring outcomes and barriers at housing access.
  • Collaborates with housing providers and community partners to expand survivor housing opportunities, supports navigation of housing resources and eligibility, addresses barriers, and participates in planning and prioritization efforts.
  • Maintains and analyzes housing and referral data to monitor system performance, tracks outcomes and trends, ensures data quality and reporting compliance.
  • Provides education to community partners regarding processes and practices. Fosters strong partnerships and represents TCFSH through various initiatives.
  • Supports continuous improvement of housing coordination services and assists in developing and implementing policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent education and experience, required. Master’s Degree in relevant field, preferred.
  • Three years of experience in housing services, victim advocacy, case management, homelessness services, domestic violence services, or a related field, required.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and coordinating services across multiple systems, required.
  • Experience with grant-funded programs and performance reporting, preferred.
  • Experience with Coordinated Entry, Victim Coordinated Entry, HMIS, comparable databases, or housing prioritization systems, preferred.

Skills

  • Knowledge of trauma-informed, survivor-centered, and empowerment-based service approaches.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with data systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking, and housing-related best practices.
