Housekeeping Worker - Part-Time - Evening - Weekends/Holidays

Location: New York, New York
Shift: Evening (3:30 pm to 11:30 pm, including every Saturday and Sunday)

Maintain cleanliness and a culture of compassion, caring, warmth, and support. Spend quality time and build solid relationships with patients and their families. Go above and beyond for patients to deliver superior customer service and ensure their comfort and safety at all times.

This position will require registration with the 1199 Job Security Fund.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards within the hospital.
• Provide superior customer service to patients and their families.
• Build relationships with patients and visitors through compassionate interactions.
• Use equipment and tools necessary for performance of duties.
• Follow instructions and comprehend written guidelines.

Qualifications

Preferred Criteria

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3-6 months of hospital housekeeping experience.
• Extensive customer service experience and a desire to prioritize patient care.
• Experience in the hotel, restaurant, or retail industry.

Required Criteria

• Capable of using equipment and tools necessary for performance of duty.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions.

Pay

Salary Range: $24.60–$26.46/hourly.

Compensation packages include competitive base pay and recognition for your experience, education, and licensure.
