Housekeeping Worker - part-time

Job Duties

NVMHI has an exciting new opportunity for a team member to work for day shift in our housekeeping department part-time (with no benefits).

• Maintain cleanliness in the hospital
• Exchange linens
• Gather and dispose of refuse
• Move furniture and equipment around
• Identify and report items for repair
• Perform other duties as assigned

Schedule

Day Shift Hours: 07:00 am to 2:30 pm with alternating weekends.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to lift, stoop, bend, pull, push, reach and stand for extended period of time
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and use of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks
• Ability to follow oral instructions

Additional Considerations

Prior experience in a hospital setting.

Pay

$17.25/hr. Pay Band: 1

Benefits

These positions are hourly/wage and not eligible for benefits. Hourly (wage) employees may not work more than 29 hours a week and are limited to working 1500 hours in a year.
