About the role

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is seeking a Team Leader who embodies a passion for excellence and who can inspire enthusiasm in their team. This position involves shaping the guest experience by demonstrating the Golden Rule in interactions.

Responsibilities

• Inspects the work of a team of Room Attendants and House Attendants responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of a specific area of the hotel.
• Trains and coaches the staff.
• Schedules work to be done daily, collects room and floor status sheets for assigned work areas.
• Makes sure each Room Attendant's daily progress is monitored.
• Ensures completed rooms meet all standards by inspecting them.
• Brings employees back to rooms where standards have not been met to correct deficiencies.
• Coordinates work orders in assigned sections and follows up to ensure tasks are completed.
• Releases checkout rooms to be sold.
• Affirms the performance of House Attendants.
• Affirms there are sufficient supplies on guest floors.
• Monitors cleanliness of guest corridors, stairwells, elevators, and Linen Closets.

What to bring

• Ability to accurately read and work with computer systems.
• Housekeeping and leadership experience preferred.
• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English, with a working knowledge of iPod Touch device or similar hardware and applications.
