About the role

As a Housekeeping Team Leader at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW), you will assist in providing our Owners/guests with experiences and events to make memorable vacation memories in a supportive, friendly, and beautiful work environment.

A valid driver's license may be required with at least one year of clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Completes checklists to report the cleanliness and condition of each assigned area.
• Identifies room assignments and types of cleaning required for each room.
• Inspects guest rooms after being cleaned by the Housekeeper.
• Identifies the turns and reports to the Manager in order to determine which rooms will be cleaned and ready.
• Responds promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Enters status of rooms cleaned on assignment sheets.
• Assists in all aspects of Housekeeping, including cleaning rooms/villas, house aide duties, and public space cleaning.
• Welcomes and greets guests, anticipates and addresses their needs.
• Interacts with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
• Contributes to team goals while following company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Able to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
