Housekeeping Team Leader

About the role

We are looking for a Team Leader to lead our Housekeeping team and ensure high-quality, welcoming spaces where students can thrive. You will join our high-performing housekeeping team within the busy Estates Department at Canterbury College, motivating and leading a team of housekeepers while maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene. You will also perform a range of cleaning tasks, including the use of industry-standard machinery.

Schedule

15 hours per week, working 05:30 to 08:30 across Monday to Friday.

Pay

£11,598 per annum.

Requirements

• Previous experience of team leadership and cleaning in a commercial environment
• Ability to learn quickly and maintain high standards of work
• Level 2 qualification in English & Maths or willingness to work towards these (the College will support with such qualifications)
• A health & safety certificate would be an advantage but is not essential (training is provided)
