About the role
As a Housekeeping Team Leader at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW), you will assist in providing our Owners/guests with experiences and events to make memorable vacation memories in a supportive, friendly, and beautiful work environment.
Schedule
Regular full-time position. Shift: 1st/2nd. Must be available weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Completes checklists to report the cleanliness and condition of each assigned area.
- Identifies room assignments and types of cleaning required for each room.
- Inspects guest rooms after being cleaned by the Housekeeper.
- Identifies the turns and reports to the Manager in order to determine which rooms will be cleaned and ready.
- Responds promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
- Enters status of rooms cleaned on assignment sheets.
- Assists in all aspects of Housekeeping, including cleaning rooms/villas, house aide duties, and public space cleaning.
- Welcomes and greets guests, anticipates and addresses their needs.
- Interacts with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
- Contributes to team goals while following company policies and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
- Able to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.
- Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
