Housekeeping Team Lead - Full Time - 2nd Shift

About the Role

This is a full-time, 2nd shift housekeeping position at the Mathile Center for Mental Health and Wellness. The Team Lead performs daily housekeeping services and supports the supervisor in overseeing staff to ensure tasks are completed safely, accurately, and on time. On weekends, the Team Lead serves as a point of contact for customers, staff, and vendors, troubleshooting service issues and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and trash removal in assigned areas, including restrooms, offices, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, laboratories, elevators, and medical areas.
• Apply proper cleaning techniques such as vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, spot cleaning, scrubbing, and disinfecting.
• Remove trash and recycling; restock fixtures (toilet paper, towels, soap, and sanitizer).
• Operate various equipment, including vacuum cleaners and floor machines.
• Oversee daily housekeeping services provided by staff to ensure completion in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
• Serve as a point of contact on weekends, troubleshooting service issues and implementing solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of housekeeping experience required.
• GED or high school diploma preferred.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.

Schedule

40 hours per week, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, with every other weekend and holiday required.
