Housekeeping | Full Time | 2nd shift

2nd shift: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm. Must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday. Employees who work on a recognized holiday are paid time and a half for hours worked. Shift premiums: $2.00/hour for 2nd shift, plus an additional $2.00/hour for weekend shifts.

Requirements

• Must have or be actively pursuing a high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Experience preferred but not required
• Must be able to stand for entire shift; frequent walking, pulling, pushing, bending, stooping, and carrying
• Excellent customer service, positive attitude, and strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and demonstrated organizational skills
• Must pass background check and drug test, including screening for marijuana

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and disinfecting services throughout the hospital: empty trash cans, clean patient rooms, restrooms, floors, common areas, and change bed linens
• Maintain professional demeanor and protect the privacy and confidentiality of protected health information
• Move furniture and other heavy objects for routine and non-routine cleaning and assist in patient moves
• Operate equipment and supplies properly; report needed repairs or restocking to the appropriate individual
• Multitask, adhere to a schedule, and respond to incidents as they occur during the shift
