Job Details Description Work Schedule and Shift Premiums 1st shift is 7:00am - 3:30pmMust be able to work every other weekend and every other holidayWeekend premium is an additional $2.00/hourEmployees who work on a recognized holiday are paid time and a half for hours worked on the holiday in addition to holiday pay at straight time Benefits Insurance: medical, prescription, dental, vision, life, disabilityPaid Time Off: vacation and holidaysRetirement: 403(b) with match Education assistance and continuing education Requirements Must have or be actively pursuing a high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institutionExperience preferred but not requiredMust be able to be on your feet all shift, walking, pulling, pushing, bending, stooping, carryingExcellent customer service, positive attitude and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectivelyAbility to prioritize along with excellent organizational skillsMust pass background check and drug test including test for marijuana Responsibilities In all areas of the hospital, perform a variety of cleaning and disinfecting services including emptying trash cans, cleaning patient rooms, restrooms, floors, common areas, and changing bed linensExhibit a professional demeanor and ensure the privacy and confidentiality of protected health information at all timesMove furniture and other heavy objects for routine & non-routine cleaning and when assisting in patient movesUse equipment and supplies properly and report needed repairs or restocking to the appropriate individualMultitask and stick to a schedule while also responding to incidents as they occur throughout the day Why Hillsdale Hospital Hillsdale Hospital is dedicated to excellence in healthcare community service, continued improvement, and respect for human life.
