Housekeeping | Full Time | 1st Shift

Schedule

1st shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday.

• Weekend premium: additional $2.00/hour
• Holiday pay: time-and-a-half for hours worked on a recognized holiday, plus straight-time holiday pay

Requirements

• Must have or be actively pursuing a high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Experience preferred but not required
• Able to be on your feet all shift, walking, pulling, pushing, bending, stooping, carrying
• Excellent customer service, positive attitude, and strong interpersonal skills including effective communication
• Ability to prioritize and strong organizational skills
• Must pass background check and drug test (including marijuana)

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and disinfecting services throughout the hospital: empty trash cans, clean patient rooms, restrooms, floors, common areas, and change bed linens
• Maintain professional demeanor and ensure privacy and confidentiality of protected health information
• Move furniture and other heavy objects for routine and non-routine cleaning and assist in patient moves
• Use equipment and supplies properly; report needed repairs or restocking to the appropriate individual
• Multitask, adhere to a schedule, and respond to incidents as they occur
