About the role
The Housekeeper performs terminal cleaning of rooms after patients are discharged and cleans nursing units, surgical areas, offices, labs, waiting areas and public restrooms.
- Making beds
- Emptying trash
- Wiping equipment
- Cleaning furniture
- Polishing floors
- Vacuuming carpets
- Cleaning restrooms
- Laundering hospital linen
- Daily inspection and inventory of housekeeping equipment
- Other assorted duties
The Housekeeper receives training about the cleaning chemicals used and must demonstrate competency in proper usage, disposal, and safety measures to ensure a clean and safe hospital environment.
Schedule
Full‑time position (40 hours per week). Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays.
