About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor supports the Housekeeping Management Team in supervising tasks within private residences, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This seasonal position runs from November to April.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure outstanding guest service by greeting and acknowledging every Member and guest, maintaining service standards, and demonstrating hospitality and professionalism.
  • Guarantee total guest satisfaction, handle guest transactions ethically, and represent Yellowstone Club with pride.
  • Apply property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure environment; report accidents or emergencies immediately.
  • Foster a positive working environment by maintaining favorable relationships with all employees.
  • Provide training, coaching, and counseling to housekeeping staff to uphold department standards.
  • Clean private homes to the highest hospitality standards, ensuring consistency and adherence to owner preferences.
  • Oversee staff to ensure compliance with department practices and conduct regular inspections of homes.
  • Assist the Housekeeping Management team with daily operations, including billing and scheduling.
  • Communicate professionally and hospitably with Members and guests.
  • Assist in recruiting, selecting, training, and evaluating department personnel.
  • Perform duties efficiently and in accordance with Club policies and service standards.
  • Complete all required training and meet productivity, punctuality, and attendance standards.
  • Maintain a positive, respectful attitude and professional appearance at all times.
  • Uphold Member privacy and project a favorable image of Yellowstone Club.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with potential for long hours due to business demands.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and take initiative.
  • Collaborative mindset in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid U.S. or International Driver’s License with at least 3 years of driving experience; must be at least 19 years old.
  • Proficiency in basic technology, including computers, smartphones, email, and Microsoft Office systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact clearly and effectively with Members, guests, and colleagues.
  • Basic math and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or vocational training.
  • 6 months of housekeeping experience, preferably in a hospitality setting.

Work Environment

The role is primarily performed in climate-controlled environments but may require working outdoors in extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, wind, or snow.

Physical Demands

  • Frequently required to talk, hear, and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Constantly required to use hands and fingers to handle or lift items.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or reach.
  • Frequently required to drive for extended periods, maintaining focus and alertness.
  • Constantly required to use vision to assess accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work, including safe driving.
  • Must adhere to safety standards and Club policies while operating vehicles.
