Housekeeping Supervisor I
About the role
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is a large agency responsible for various health and human services. Central Regional Hospital is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor I to oversee cleaning duties and equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Supervise 7-12 housekeeping employees in daily cleaning of patient and staff areas
- Ensure adherence to cleaning schedules and standards
- Oversee the care and maintenance of hospital equipment
- Maintain supply inventories at prescribed levels
- Evaluate employee performance and provide training
- Set priorities and deadlines for the housekeeping team
Requirements
- One year of work-related experience in housekeeping duties
- Knowledge to set priorities and deadlines
- Ability to evaluate employees
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- One year of experience in the area assigned
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of new products and cleaning procedures, ability to evaluate employees, and good communication skills

Pay
$32,639.00 - $57,117.00 per year
Schedule
1st Shift, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., alternating weekends and holidays

Conditional requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and reporting during adverse weather events.
