Housekeeping Supervisor- Full Time

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor plans, directs, and coordinates the community housekeeping programs to ensure areas are maintained in a safe, clean, and comfortable manner for residents and guests.

Schedule

Full Time, Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules for the housekeeping team
• Communicate cleaning schedule changes to residents and/or family members
• Conduct daily inspections of the interior of the community, immediately addressing any deficiencies to ensure resident safety
• Coordinate cleaning of rent-ready and move-in-ready apartments
• Train new and existing staff in community and state-required policies and procedures
• Hire and supervise the housekeeping team

Requirements

• A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for residents
• Minimum requirement of high school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of housekeeping experience
• 1 year in a supervisory or management position in housekeeping or environmental services
