Housekeeping Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily sign-in/out of master and section keys, ensuring security and proper tracking.
• Monitor housekeeping productivity by tracking vacant dirty (VD) rooms and promptly notifying managers of any concerns.
• Assign daily special assignments, such as high dusting, low dusting, and cleaning of coffee pots.
• Ensure general cleaning tasks, including bedspreads, tub/tile cleaning, and mildew removal, are completed to maintain high standards.
• Ensure rooms designated for AAA inspections meet or exceed the set standards, maintaining the property’s high reputation.
• Manage the weekly ordering and maintenance of cleaning, guest, and office supplies.
• Conduct bi-monthly inventory checks to monitor linen and amenity supplies, ensuring appropriate levels for guest rooms and public areas.
• Notify and follow up on necessary equipment repairs for laundry, housekeeping, and contract labor operations to ensure smooth day-to-day functionality.
• Collaborate with the Housekeeping Manager to review inspection room requirements during pre-shift meetings, ensuring proper staffing levels are maintained based on occupancy, labor costs, and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor attendance, address tardiness, and control call-offs to ensure a reliable and punctual workforce.
• Regularly inspect linens for damages, recommending appropriate treatment. Ensure timely usage and distribution throughout the day, maintaining adequate stock levels in rooms and the pool area.
