Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and storage spaces.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping staff.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and brand standards are consistently met.
- Manage inventory levels and order housekeeping supplies as needed.
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and quality-control programs.
- Cook up with Front Desk and Maintenance teams to ensure efficient room turnover and prompt resolution of guest requests.
- Monitor labor costs and departmental budgets.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and workplace regulations.
- Address guest concerns related to housekeeping services in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping management or supervisory experience in a nursing home or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with housekeeping management systems and Microsoft Office applications is an asset.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, as required.
