Essential Job Functions
- Inspects the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms.
- Inspects the cleanliness of guest hallways.
- Assigns special projects as directed by the Director of Housekeeping.
- Works in coordinator capacity as needed.
- Reports any needed repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms.
- Affords assistance in training all new housekeeping staff.
- Ensures that all GRAs have appropriate supplies and linens.
- Affords assistance in the cleaning of guest rooms when necessary.
- Affords assistance in processing AM and PM room status reports.
- Ensures that the GRA's cart is neat and well organized.
- Ensures that linen closets on guest room floors are completely stocked.
- Maintains supply cage stock, neat and clean at all times.
- Must have all guest rooms punched in via the phone and or electronic device after completion.
- Ensures that guest room doors be held open with a door stopper when needed.
- Ensures VIP rooms must be inspected ASAP.
- Ensures check out rooms are a priority.
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience in housekeeping and/or other relevant hotel experience required.
- Able to maintain a Diamond level cleanliness standard.
- Able to work with management on special projects.
- Able to set priorities for your section.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Sense of urgency.
- Fast paced.
- Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
