Housekeeping/EVS Tech - Per Diem - Evenings - San Diego
About the role
This is a Casual (Per Diem) position located at our Scripps Mercy Campus in Hillcrest. Must be available to work an Evening shift including 2:00pm-10:30pm and a varied schedule including weekends. This position will assist in providing coverage for PTO, LOA, and additional departmental needs.
Responsibilities
- Assists in providing coverage for PTO, LOA, and additional departmental needs.
- Supports environmental care: patient care area cleaning, non-patient care area cleaning, linen service, waste removal, sharps container removal, meeting/event set-up/breakdown, and infection control/sanitation.
- Works under the guidance and support of a supervisor.
- Ensures compliance with Joint Commission, Title XXII, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Displays and practices a work style that reflects the mission, philosophy, and goals of the organization.
Requirements
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
- 6 months Housekeeping experience in Health Care or Hospitality (preferred).
- Extensive customer service experience and a desire to provide the highest quality of service (preferred).
