Why We Need Your Talents: The Housekeeping Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating communication and workflow within the Housekeeping Department to ensure efficient operations and timely service delivery across the hotel. This role plays a critical part in monitoring room status updates, prioritizing guest and operational requests, and ensuring accurate information flows between housekeeping, the front desk, and other key departments. Your ability to manage incoming requests, maintain detailed records, and support daily operations directly contributes to maintaining Live! Casino & Hotel’s four-diamond service standards. By ensuring clarity, accuracy, and responsiveness throughout each shift, you help uphold exceptional guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist the housekeeping staff in directing the operations of the Housekeeping Department so as to meet the expected level of guest satisfaction.
• Communicate necessary information to housekeeping department, front desk personnel and hotel guests.
• Answer phones and accurately document and communicate information in a timely manner.
• Demonstrates the ability to work cohesively and professionally with all front desk team members.
• Update the status of all hotel rooms, and keep the housekeeping team informed on stay overs, turndown service, and do not disturb guest rooms.
• Accurately maintain a call log of all communication received/sent, including call generation and disposition.
• Verify that all room statuses are correct in the computer at the end of the day and properly follow up on any inconsistencies.
• Maintain a complete list of current issues and maintain a record of all inventory issues to keep management staff up-to-date.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be able to type at least 40 wpm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six (6) months prior or equivalent experience required.
• Prior hotel experience, preferred.

• Lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Pushing/Pulling up to 40 lbs.
• Carrying up to 15 lbs.
• Infrequent bending/kneeling.
• Infrequent walking.
• Infrequent standing.
• Frequent sitting.
