Overview
Why We Need Your Talents: The Floor Supervisor is responsible for directing the daily housekeeping operations on assigned floors to ensure all guestrooms, hallways, and public areas consistently meet Live! Casino & Hotel’s four-diamond standards of cleanliness and presentation. This role plays a critical part in inspecting rooms, maintaining accurate operational records, and supporting team members through coaching, feedback, and adherence to departmental procedures and safety protocols. Your ability to lead staff, uphold quality expectations, and respond promptly to guest and operational needs directly contributes to the efficiency of the department and the overall guest experience. By fostering a positive and professional work environment while ensuring service excellence, you help reinforce the high standards that define Live! Casino & Hotel.
Responsibilities
- Maintain records, including repairs needed, lost and found items, and quality of work completed by employees; reports needed repairs and prepare service call requests for maintenance
- Completes room status reports in the morning and afternoon and forwards them to the Housekeeping office
- Inspires and disciplines employees that violate department policies, practices or procedures through progressive counseling guidelines
- Create a good work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction and training
- Manages the delivery and measurement of guest service consistent with the company’s core values
- Conducts daily briefings and instructs employees on the products used for cleaning in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) chemical Right to Know standards
- Responds to emergency situations
Skills
- Effectively communicate English with guests, management, and other associates to their understanding
- Additional foreign language a plus

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 6 years of experience in Housekeeping or Hotel Operations
- Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 25lbs, Pushing/Pulling up to 40lbs, Carrying up to 15lbs, Frequent Bending / Kneeling, Frequent Walking, Frequent Standing, Some Sitting, Climbing steps, Using stairs and elevators
