Rooms Housekeeping - Floor Supervisor

About the role

This position is responsible for ensuring that the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms, hallways, back of house and landing meets Omni 4 Diamond standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspects the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms
• Inspects the cleanliness of guest hallways
• Assigns special projects as directed by the Director of Housekeeping
• Support new Omni Safe and Clean protocols throughout the hotel to support Omni's Covid-19 related sanitation protocols
• Reports any needed repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms
• Ensures that all GRAs have appropriate supplies and linens
• Assists in the cleaning of guest rooms when necessary
• Assists in processing AM and PM room status reports
• Ensures that the GRA's linen cart is neat and well organized
• Ensures that linen closets on guest room floors are completely stocked
• Maintain all supply storage closets, neat and clean at all times
• Must have all guest rooms punched in via the phone after completion
• Ensure all guest room doors be held open with a door stopper when needed
• Ensure VIP rooms must be inspected before noon
• Participate and monitor the new hire training process
• Ensure check-out rooms are a priority
• Maintain daily knowledge of hotel, facilities and events
• Ensure hotel, guest and associates are maintained in a clean, safe and secure environment

Qualifications

• Previous Housekeeping experience is preferred, with demonstrated leadership skills
• Able to work with management on special projects
• Must work with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate (verbal and written) in English
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

Physical requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, push, pull, stoop, bend and lift items of moderate weight for an entire shift

Working environment

• Interior of hotel with daily travel around property
• Exposure to hazardous chemicals

Pay

Salary for this position starts at (based on experience): $21.50/hour.
