Housekeeping/Custodial Worker - GMH Annex

About the role

Housekeeping/Custodial Workers have the integral role and basic function of caring for and cleaning Griffin Memorial Hospital- Annex location. Positions in this job family are assigned routine work involving sweeping, mopping, dusting, disposing of trash, and other simple cleaning duties in a 24-hour, 30 bed inpatient facility. Training will be provided in completing more advanced tasks, such as the disposal of restricted or environmentally hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disposing of trash
• Disposal of restricted or environmentally hazardous materials
• Other simple cleaning duties

Requirements

• One year experience in building or institutional custodial work or an equivalent combination of education and experience for Level II
• No experience required for Level I

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• The ability to travel as needed for job-related duties
