Housekeeper | Full Time

About the Role

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in common living areas and resident apartments within the community. This role ensures a safe and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Clean common living areas and resident apartments, with a focus on common areas and apartment bathrooms.
• Complete maintenance request reports as needed.
• Report any deterioration or damage to the building and furnishings to the housekeeping supervisor.
• Operate laundry equipment when required.
• Report insufficient quantities of supplies to the housekeeping supervisor.
• Use only approved cleaning products and ensure proper storage of all cleaning supplies.
• Clean office areas as assigned.
• Dust and clean window blinds, furniture, and bookshelves in resident apartments and common areas.
• Vacuum common areas and resident apartments.
• Maintain cleanliness in common area and resident bathrooms.
• Clean apartments upon resident move-out.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality, adhering to policies regarding the release of resident information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Housekeeping experience is highly desired.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to complete assignments thoroughly and on time.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Polite and courteous demeanor towards residents, visitors, co-workers, and management.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, grasp, push, and pull for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and carry heavy objects for up to 20 feet.
• Willingness to wear a designated uniform and maintain good personal hygiene.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay

Pay Range: $15/hr - $15.44/hr
