HOUSEKEEPER (FULL TIME)
About the role
Crothall Healthcare is seeking immediate full-time Housekeeper positions at Chenango Memorial Hospital located at 179 North Broad Street, Norwich, NY 13815. Online applications are accepted only. Responsibilities
- Provides quality customer service by attending to guests' needs and addressing their queries and requests promptly.
- Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors; vacuums carpets, rugs, and draperies; shampoos carpets, rugs, and upholstery; dusts and polishes furniture and fittings; cleans metal fixtures and fittings; empties and cleans trash containers; disposes of trash in a sanitary manner; cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers; wipes down glass surfaces; makes up beds and changes linens as required; repositions furniture and amenities according to prescribed layouts.
- Responds to guest inquiries and requests; addresses housekeeping issues such as spills and broken glass; contributes to team efforts; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow associates, and others.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Prior housekeeping experience is preferred.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.
Skills
Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong communication skills are essential.

Pay
$16.50 per hour to $17.00 per hour.
Schedule
Full time schedule; all shifts available. Hours and days may vary, including rotating weekends and holidays.
