HOUSEKEEPER (FULL TIME)

About the Role

We are hiring immediately for full-time HOUSEKEEPER positions at Inova Alexandria Hospital, located at 4320 Seminary Road, Alexandria, VA 22304. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule

Full-time schedule: Monday - Friday, including rotating weekends. Shifts available: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, or 11:00 pm - 7:00 am. Further details upon interview.

Pay

Pay Range: $17.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service by giving one-on-one attention to detail.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors.
• Vacuums carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoos carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empties and cleans trash containers; disposes of trash in a sanitary manner.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes beds and changes linens as required.
• Realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout.
• Responds to guest queries and requests.
• Addresses housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses.
• Contributes to team efforts and exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow associates, and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Prior housekeeping experience preferred. Willing to train!
