Housekeeper Full Time

Community Hospital North is seeking a Full Time Housekeeper to join their dedicated team. This position offers an opportunity to work alongside a compassionate group of professionals who prioritize the care of both patients and community members.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas of the facility to maintain an aseptic environment and prevent healthcare-associated infections.
• Performs daily cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways using a 7-Step cleaning process.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and sanitary environment in all assigned areas.
• Completes work assignments promptly and efficiently.
• Demonstrates excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Utilizes appropriate chemicals and supplies according to established procedures.
• Maintains and uses equipment correctly.
• Introduces oneself to patients, families, and visitors.
• Reports to work on time and completes tasks within designated timeframes.
• Transports trash and hazardous waste to the appropriate disposal area.
• Aids visitors with directions as needed.
• Replenishes supplies as necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
• Must complete and/or take all required health screenings and vaccines.
• Experience with floor stripping and refinishing is a plus.
