Housekeeper/Custodian

We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Housekeeper / Custodian to join our team. This position combines traditional housekeeping with custodial responsibilities throughout our community. It is a great fit for someone who takes pride in creating clean, comfortable, and welcoming spaces and enjoys a role with a variety of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident homes, apartments, and suites, including Fox Pointe homes
• Collect and properly dispose of trash and recyclable materials throughout the community
• Clean floors throughout the community, including vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, and other floor care
• Clean and sanitize public restrooms
• Deep clean the team member breakroom and other designated areas
• Clean and maintain laundry rooms and trash/recycling rooms
• Clean building entries, lobbies, dining areas, hallways, and other common areas
• Assist with residential deep cleaning projects
• Assist with cleaning vacant residences and refurbishment cleaning in preparation for new residents
• Identify and report maintenance concerns or needed repairs
• Follow established safety practices and properly use personal protective equipment
• Work independently and collaboratively with other team members
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous housekeeping, custodial, hotel, senior living, or similar experience preferred
• Dependable and consistent attendance
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities
• Professional, respectful, and friendly interactions with residents, guests, and team members
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or other shifts as needed
• Comfort working in environments where pets may be present
