About the role

The House Supervisor will act as the primary point of contact for all departments, ensuring seamless coordination of care across different levels of patient care. This role involves liaising with various leaders and professionals to optimize patient care delivery and achieve desired outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assists in coordinating patient care from one level to another, ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
• Affirms the need for regular assessment, implementation, and evaluation of patient care practices.
• Reports significant events affecting patient care, including near misses, adverse events, and patient complaints.
• Collaborates with team members to identify areas for improvement and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Maintains accurate documentation and participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Facilitates patient satisfaction rounds and assists in recovering service when necessary.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure in Ohio.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Completes 24 contact hours of approved continuing education annually.
• Maintains certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NIH Stroke Scale, NIMS 100/700, and de-escalation training within six months of employment.
• Works nights, rotating every two weeks, every third weekend.
