House Manager
The Arc Western Montana is hiring a House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Easy St Group Home, supporting adults with developmental disabilities. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll guide a dedicated team of caregivers while ensuring a safe, clean, and supportive living environment for the people we serve. You’ll provide direct care, support clients with daily activities, and coordinate essential services that help individuals live fulfilling and independent lives.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including hygiene and medication
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized home environment
- Schedule and accompany clients to medical appointments
- Manage household inventory and ensure adequate supplies are available
- Train and support new staff on care protocols and daily procedures
- Co-lead monthly house meetings
- Oversee spend-downs and petty cash reports
- Coordinate transportation for day programs, community outings, and more
Requirements
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (as required by Montana state law)
- Experience in caregiving and supervisory roles is strongly preferred
- Must be dependable, compassionate, and a team player
- At least 5 years of driving experience with a clear enough record to satisfy our insurer
Pay
$22.00 per hour, increasing to $23.00 an hour upon successful completion of paid training and certifications.
Schedule
Typically Monday - Friday between 7am and 6pm with a consistent 8-hour shift. Some flexibility is available to set your schedule.
