About the role

Captures patient care activities within the hospital on an assigned shift or tour of duty. Serves as the highest official on duty in the absence of the President and/or his designated representative.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient care activities within the hospital on an assigned shift or tour of duty.
• Serves as the highest official on duty in the absence of the President and/or his designated representative.
• Ensures the continuity of patient care services and other administrative activities.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Five (5) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Two (2) years of leadership experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

Preferred

• BSN degree.
• Two (2) years of critical care experience within the last ten (10) years.
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
