Hourly Companion Caregiver

Location: Winchester, Connecticut

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Hourly Companion Caregiver to join our team. As a Non-Medical Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Responsible for house maintenance when applicable
• Answer phone calls for clients when necessary
• Converses with patients to provide assurance
• Observes Universal Precautions
• Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities and shopping
• Provides patient laundry and linen changes
• Light housekeeping
• Provides medication reminders
• Meal preparation and clean up

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Non-Medical Caregiver required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Must have Cell Phone / Tablet
• 3+ years of experience

Pay

$17 - $18.50 hourly

Schedule

Part-Time, 8-20 hours per week
