About the Role
As a Guest Service Associate at Towne Park, you’ll provide exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner. Your role includes parking and retrieving guest vehicles safely and promptly, assisting with luggage, and delivering outstanding guest experiences that create smiles and make an impact.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients; acknowledges and greets guests within five feet using their last names.
- Uses proper salutation of the day, welcomes guests to the location, and practices Towne Park phone etiquette.
- Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously; assists guests with bell services, luggage storage, and opening vehicle/hotel doors.
- Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and inquiries about facility amenities or local attractions; delivers messages, items, or guest amenities as requested.
- Shuttles guests to approved locations; explains parking rates and retrieval procedures; issues and collects claim checks; completes all ticket information accurately.
- Calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed; consistently completes key tags with vehicle location after parking.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license for the state where you will work (or within commutable distance).
- One month of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and processes.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos in English; ability to present information effectively in one-on-one or small group settings.
- Basic arithmetic skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using American currency; ability to understand 24-hour/military time and applicable rates.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable; proficiency in parallel parking.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
- Regularly required to talk or hear; frequently required to sit or stand for extended periods, walk, run, handle objects, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Lifting requirements: up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly.
- Majority of work performed outdoors for extended periods, including exposure to extreme heat and cold; protection from weather may be provided, but not from temperature changes.
- Travel of up to 5% may be required.
Pay
The hourly base pay for this position is $13 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on job-related skills, experience, education, and location.
Schedule
This position follows a Monday to Wednesday AM shift schedule.
