About the role
The Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh Downtown is seeking a Night Manager to lead hotel operations during evening and overnight hours. This position requires overseeing all hotel operations, performing the Night Audit process, leading the Front Desk team, and ensuring exceptional guest service and property safety.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all hotel operations during evening and overnight hours as needed.
- Perform the Night Audit process, including balancing daily transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing daily reports.
- Lead and support Front Desk Team Members while providing coaching and guidance as needed.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, concerns, and service recovery situations.
- Serve as the primary Manager on Duty during evening hours and make sound operational decisions independently.
- Monitor hotel safety and security, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with emergency personnel when necessary.
- Complete nightly property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and brand standards are maintained.
- Aid with guest arrivals, departures, reservations, billing inquiries, and other Front Desk responsibilities.
- Ensure accurate accounting procedures, cash handling, and billing reconciliation.
- Maintain clear communication with the daytime management team regarding evening/overnight activities and any operational concerns.
- Assist with training and development of Front Desk and Night Audit Team Members.
- Support other departments as needed to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
Requirements

- Experience with Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems.
- Attention to detail and strong accounting aptitude.
- Must be available to work primarily evening shifts that transition into overnight hours, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of hotel Front Desk, Night Audit, or supervisory experience preferred.
- Previous leadership experience in hotel operations is strongly preferred.
- Hilton PEP and Hilton brand experience preferred but not required.
