About the Hotel
The Sleep Inn is located in Ellenboro, WV.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests of the hotel
- Perform check-in and check-out procedures
- Balance cash and reconcile credit cards
- Answer the phone and attend to guest needs
- Greet all guests while in required uniform, name tag, and earpiece
- Provide information to guests about policies, services, and amenities
- Respond to guest requests and complaints
- Sell rooms to walk-in guests
- Enter and change reservations in the system
- Post charges to guest accounts and process payments
- Make necessary changes to guest accounts
- Inform housekeeping of any room changes
- Listen and respond to guest needs
- Transfer calls as needed
- Clean the front desk area and surrounding areas
- Complete checklists and maintain daily logs
- Balance cash drawer
- Stand for an 8-hour shift
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain an attitude conducive to team growth, hospitality, and a serving environment
- Complete hospitality training and education related to the hospitality industry
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or general manager
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Choice Advantage is preferred but not required
