About the role
The Wallhouse hotel located in Walnut Creek, Ohio is looking to add to their award-winning team.
Essential Job Functions
- Be in required uniform, name tag, and ear piece.
- Greet all guests.
- Provide information to guests about policies, services, and amenities.
- Sell rooms to walk-in guests, enter and change reservations in the system, post charges to guest accounts, process payments from guests, make necessary changes to guest accounts, inform housekeeping of any room changes, etc.
- Listen and respond to the needs of the guest.
- Respond to guest complaints, answer the phone, transfer calls, clean the front desk area and the surrounding area, complete checklists, maintain daily logs, balance cash drawer.
- Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift.
Additional Responsibilities
- Attitude must be conducive to team growth, hospitality, and serving environment.
- Willingness to complete hospitality training and education of the hospitality industry.
- Any other duties given by the supervisor or general manager.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Choice Advantage is preferred but not required.
