Hotel Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Platinum Hotel & Spa seeks a passionate, experienced Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join its dynamic team. This full-time position involves ensuring all physical building assets and equipment are in good repair with minimal downtime. Key responsibilities include performing day-to-day maintenance and implementing preventative maintenance projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day maintenance on physical building assets and equipment
• Implement preventative maintenance projects
• Ensure HVAC, boilers, plumbing, electrical, mechanical equipment, refrigeration, fire alarm, and life safety systems are in good working condition
• Read and interpret blueprints/schematics, procedure manuals, OSHA standards, SDS, etc.
• Assess and identify problems and implement solutions
• Work independently or as part of a team
• Represent the hotel and company professionally

Requirements

• Specialized skills in HVAC, boilers, plumbing, and electrical
• CPO Certification required, training provided if necessary

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Analytical skills to assess and solve problems
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Safe use of hand and power tools

• Interpretation of technical documents
