Hotel Housekeeping Room Inspector

About the role

Collegiate Hotel Group®, is seeking a Rooms Inspector to join Graduate by Hilton Ann Arbor and its brilliant team of hospitality enthusiasts.

Responsibilities

• Inspects all assigned rooms to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair
• Provides efficient and objective feedback to room attendants to drive efficiency and quality within the housekeeping department
• Ensures that all associates have proper supplies, equipment, and uniform
• Trains associates on safety standards and enforces those standards on a consistent basis
• Identifies associates engaging in unsafe behaviors and retrains them appropriately
• Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning
• Notifies maintenance department of maintenance repairs necessary
• Identifies items that guests have left behind and reports items utilizing the hotel’s lost and found procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Housekeeping experience

• Knowledge of cleanliness standards
• Available to work weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay

Compensation range: $18.50‑$19.50 per hour
