Hotel Housekeeper- Day shift $16.94 Hourly plus TIPS- START IMMEDIATELY

About the role

Responsibilities

• Ensure that rooms and public areas are cleaned and sanitized to company-mandated standards.
• Ensure that rooms have clean linen, bedding, and towels.
• Understand and follow all safety and security procedures as mandated by the hotel.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel property, staff, services, hours of operation, and surroundings (e.g., mall, restaurants).
• Ensure that rooms are stocked with soap, tissues, drinking glasses, etc.
• Identify items that guests have left behind and report items utilizing the hotel's lost and found procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Schedule

• Day shift starting at 8 AM on weekdays and 9 AM on weekends.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays is required; Sundays are mandatory.

Requirements

• Hotel experience preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Skills

• Ability to multi-task.
• Must be able to stand for the majority of the shift, bend, push, and/or lift up to 25-35 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Team player with the ability to exceed guest expectations.
• Knowledge of cleanliness standards.
