Housekeeping Room Attendant - $16 an hour + Tips

Qualifications

• You are 16 years or older (required).
• Job requires full mobility and ability to push, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Ideal candidate is energetic, able to multi-task and maintain excellent levels of cleanliness in both the guest rooms and public areas.
• Reliable transportation

Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms as assigned, including but not limited to making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities as needed.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed.
• Stock, maintain, and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Perform guest stayover service as needed.

Compensation

• Full Availability and meeting room times (39 min or less / room) - $16.00/hr
• Full Availability and Training - $15.00/hr
• Four days a week Available, including Sat and Sun - $14.00/hr
• Less than 4 Days a week, no limitations - $13.00/hr
• Less than 3 Days a week available, unable to work Sunday- $12.00/hr

Work Environment and Scheduling

• Days start around 9 a.m., and the goal is to be done before 3 p.m. each day!
• Perfect job for those who have class or family obligations in the evening.
• Weekends and holidays required for first-year
• Can make additional requests off after 6 months
