About the role
The Hotel Front Desk Clerk is responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing check-in/check-out procedures, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the hotel rooms.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests and assisting with their reservations
- Processing payments and handling cash transactions
- Maintaining guest records and updating room status
- Assisting with room service and housekeeping requests
- Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of guest rooms
- Handling guest complaints and resolving issues promptly
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Previous hotel front desk experience preferred
- Customer service orientation
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of hotel operations and policies
