About the role
We are seeking a Front Desk Office Associate to join our team at LEGOLAND® Florida Resort. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating memorable experiences for families and is comfortable working in various settings.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a warm, friendly LEGOLAND® greeting
- Accurately process payments, reservations, changes, and cancellations
- Handle incoming/outgoing calls through the PBX system
- Work closely with guest services, housekeeping, engineering, and safety teams
- Maintain cash controls, balance shifts, and complete required cash drops
- Support a fun, team-oriented environment
- Protect guest and employee confidentiality
- Assist with emergencies
Requirements
- 6 months to a year of front facing customer service experience
- Comfortable working inside and outside locations with varying temperatures and floor surfaces
- Able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs
- Flexible schedule between 7am-11pm, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Computer illiterate, willing to learn new software
- Ability to stand for sustained periods of time
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent education/experience)
- 1 year of hotel front office experience preferred (not required)
- Experience with hotel property management systems or similar platforms preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proven conflict resolution abilities
- Leadership skills that support team and business improvement initiatives
