Hotel Front Desk Agent Full-time Year-round

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests upon their arrival and provide a warm farewell upon their departure.
  • Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out process, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for all guests.
  • Handle guest inquiries, reservations, and cancellations, both in person and over the phone.
  • Cook up with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure that guests' needs are met promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability, guest accounts, and hotel payments.
  • Resolve any guest complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, dining options, and transportation services.
  • Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Follow all hotel security protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality is a plus
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and basic computer applications
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
