Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon their arrival and provide a warm farewell upon their departure.
- Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out process, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for all guests.
- Handle guest inquiries, reservations, and cancellations, both in person and over the phone.
- Cook up with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure that guests' needs are met promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability, guest accounts, and hotel payments.
- Resolve any guest complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, dining options, and transportation services.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Follow all hotel security protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality is a plus
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and basic computer applications
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
