Responsibilities
- Supervising Daily Operations: Overseeing the restaurant's service flow, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Guest Experience & Service: Ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction by addressing concerns, managing special requests, and maintaining The Art Hotel's service standards.
- Team Leadership & Training: Assisting with hiring, training, and mentoring restaurant staff, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring team members follow company policies and procedures.
- Inventory & Supplies Management: Monitoring stock levels, placing orders for food, beverages, and supplies, and ensuring proper storage and usage to minimize waste.
- Ensuring Compliance: Adhering to health, safety, and sanitation regulations, as well as company policies and industry standards.
- Handling Financial Transactions: Assisting with cash handling, reconciling daily sales, and supporting budgeting and cost control efforts.
- Collaboration with Other Departments: Working closely with kitchen staff, hotel management, and event teams to coordinate food service, especially for conferences and special events.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must communicate effectively in English and interact well with guests and staff
- Self-starting personality with an even temperament, always maintaining a professional appearance and manner
- Willingness to pitch in and assist co-workers, promoting a team-oriented work environment
- Ability to apply basic supervisory skills, including planning, organizing, directing, coaching, training, and disciplining employees when necessary
- Strong knowledge of food and wine pairing is highly sought after, contributing to an elevated guest experience
- Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays
Pay
Hourly Range $25.00 to $26.00
