Hot Runner and Mold Maintenance Technician (Plastics)

About the role

The primary responsibility of the Hot Runner and Mold Maintenance Technician is to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of hot runner systems and molds within the production process at Revere Plastics Systems. This includes troubleshooting issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to hot runner systems and molds
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on molds and hot runner systems
• Ensure all equipment is functioning according to safety protocols
• Document maintenance activities and report findings to supervisors
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in mold maintenance or similar field
• Knowledge of hot runner systems and mold repair techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel to various locations as needed

Skills

• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
• Experience with CAD software is a plus

Pay

Hourly rate: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour based on experience
