About the role
This position assists in providing quality food service to patient and non-patient customers through the transportation, delivery, and retrieval of completed patient trays. Responsibilities include a variety of tasks such as cleaning, general sanitation, operation of food service equipment, and assisting in the service and preparation of food and beverages.
Responsibilities
- Transport, deliver, and retrieve patient trays
- Clean and maintain sanitation standards in food service areas
- Operate food service equipment
- Assist in the preparation and service of food and beverages for patients and non-patient customers
Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English (Bilingual in Spanish is encouraged)
- 1–3 years of experience is required
- Previous hospital food service experience is preferred
Pay
$16.00 – $19.90 per hour
Schedule
- Full time with benefits (40 hours per week)
- Rotating shifts: 8-hour shifts that may include 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, or 11:00 AM–8:00 PM
- Weekends: 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM–6:30 PM or 7:00 AM–7:30 PM)
- Rotating weekends and holidays
