Food Services Host-Hostess

Summary

Performs the spoken menu program in the Food Services department by meeting with patients to obtain food choices for meals daily. Other duties include delivery and collection of food trays; tray line responsibilities; stocking and cleaning of unit kitchens and other areas as assigned; delivery of tube feeding formula and supplies. May work in the kitchen or cafeteria as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients to obtain food choices for meals daily as part of the spoken menu program
• Deliver and collect food trays
• Perform tray line responsibilities
• Stock and clean unit kitchens and other areas as assigned
• Deliver tube feeding formula and supplies
• May work in the kitchen or cafeteria as assigned

Qualifications

• Less than one year of experience
• High School / GED preferred
• ServSafe Food Handler certification preferred

Pay

$17.00 to $22.59 based on experience
