About the role

Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states. Become a Foster Care/Host Home Provider and make a positive impact by opening your home to an individual with developmental and/or physical disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide a 24/7 family-like setting for an individual with developmental and/or physical disabilities.
• Ensure the basic physical and emotional needs of the individual are met.
• Establish a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship with the individual you house and support.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional is required.
• Open to supervisory visits in your home.

Qualifications

• Available to provide a safe and comfortable home.

Skills

• Ability to establish a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship with the individual you house and support.

Benefits

• Contracted and reimbursed at a per-diem rate PLUS monthly room and board from the individual they support.
• The income is tax exempt.

Pay

• Per-diem rate and room and board provided.

Schedule

• 24/7 availability required.
