Host/Cashier - Rise
About the role
The Host/Hostess plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive guest experience by greeting, seating, and managing guests in a high-volume food service setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests at the entrance in a positive manner.
- Obtain basic information from guests such as name, party size, and seating preferences.
- Usher guests to their seats at a comfortable pace.
- Enter guest checks into the computer system, apply payments, and provide accurate change.
- Maintain knowledge of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, including pre-check and cashiering procedures.
- Communicate effectively with management and servers to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Adhere to Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 months experience in high volume food service.
- Basic mathematical skills specific to position responsibilities.
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
- Effective communication skills, specifically for guest interactions.
- Ability to read and understand Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures.
- Able to assist other line employees with daily responsibilities.
Skills
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are essential.
