Host an International High School Exchange Student (Bowling Green, KY)

About the role

SHARE! Your Heart & Home with a high school exchange student. Host families and adults are needed to host exchange students for a school year or semester.

Responsibilities

• Attend your local high school with the exchange student
• Provide a safe and welcoming environment for the exchange student
• Help the exchange student adjust to life in a new country and culture
• Encourage the exchange student to participate in local activities and events
• Ensure the exchange student has access to medical care if needed

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Willingness to provide a home and support for the exchange student
• Ability to communicate in English
• Availability to host the exchange student for a full school year or semester

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn about and respect different cultures
• Open-minded and patient
• Willing to share your home and lifestyle with someone from another country
